This is a rare vintage unsigned European crystal Pagoda bead floral brooch. They were made by a European crystal manufacturer in the 50s or 60s and discontinued soon after production started. About 50% of them broke when they were drilled due to their fragile shape. These eleven larger Pagoda crystals with blue AB Headpins are the outside edge of this floral brooch. These Pagoda beads are one of the rarest and most collectible of all European crystals. Their color is vitrail which shines with pink, purple, and blue hues. They have vertical and horizontal facets lending to its checkerboard effect. They were mainly used in jewelry by Laguna and Vendome. The inside of the flower is accented with black faceted glass beads with clear crystal headpins. There are also lighter AB faceted glass crystal accents with flat metal headpin. The pagoda beads are wired onto a silvertone base which is attached to an outer pretty goldtone filigree base. It measures 2 1/8” in diameter and the pinback is straight and works smoothly. The brooch is in excellent condition.

An amazing Pagoda brooch to wear and look fabulous! Don’t forget the Holidays are coming!
