Vintage Milk Glass and Pink Satin Rhinestone Brooch Set, D & E Juliana, Matching Earring
This is a gorgeous vintage midcentury silvertone milk glass and rhinestone brooch with matching earrings. The center is a large white oval milk glass cabachon. It is surrounded by more white milk glass navettes and an outer row of smaller pink satin navettes. There are also four AB rhinestone accents. All of the rhinestones are faceted, prong set, all present, and all original. The pink rhinestones are open back and the milk glass and AB chatons are all closed backs. The milk glass stones are all pure white, smooth with no cracks or marks, prong set, and are original. It measures 2 1/2” x 1 3/4” and the pinback is straight and works smoothly and securely. The earrings are the same design and each have a milk glass cabachon, an AB chaton, and three pink satin rhinestones. They each measure 7/8” x 1/2” and the clip backs are tight and work well. The backs of these pieces show a small amount of wear. This set has a couple attributes of Juliana jewelry like open and closed back stones, puddling, and dimensionality. This an awesome brooch with great colors and would make a great gift to yourself or someone special!
